Training cum orientation on digital literacy and financial literacy to senior citizens along with the MWPSC Act . Programme aimed at improved understanding regarding safe banking practices, pension-related financial management, and prevention of financial exploitation. The programme further strengthened awareness regarding the collective role of families, communities, and institutions in ensuring dignity, care, and inclusion of senior citizens.

The programme contributed significantly towards improving awareness among participants regarding digital and financial literacy. The digital literacy sessions enhanced participants’ understanding of basic mobile phone operations, use of communication applications, and safe digital practices. Senior citizens became more aware about precautions related to cyber fraud, fake calls, suspicious links, and misuse of personal and financial information.

The financial literacy component improved understanding regarding safe banking practices, use of ATM cards and passbooks, pension-related financial management, and the importance of maintaining confidentiality of banking details. Participants were also sensitized regarding financial fraud and exploitation and were encouraged to adopt safe financial practices while undertaking banking and digital transactions.
