Block-level orientation and awareness programmes were organized to strengthen understanding among frontline workers, PRI representatives, community stakeholders, and local institutions regarding issues related to senior citizens and their welfare. The programmes focused on enhancing awareness about welfare schemes, social security provisions, digital literacy, financial literacy, and the importance of community support systems for elderly citizens.

The sessions were conducted in an interactive and participatory manner and included discussions on challenges faced by senior citizens in accessing services, safe use of mobile phones, banking awareness, and prevention of financial and cyber fraud. Practical demonstrations and experience-sharing exercises were also conducted to improve participant engagement and understanding.
