CMIG observed World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) by streaming a Talk Show which was hosted by Ms. Esha Chakravarty, Cancer Researcher, UK. The show gained widespread popularity with positive response from the NRI segment in UK. Dr. Indrani Chakravarty, Secretary, CMIG was the Guest Speaker in the show. She eloquently highlighted the entire spectrum of elder abuse with particular emphasis on awareness, prevention & detection of overt and covert abuse.
