A one day programme for Senior Citizen on Digital & Financial Literacy under Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana (AVYAY) organized by Women, Child, Senior Citizen & Divjangjan Welfare Department at Chintan Bhawan on 27.01.2026.

The programme was attended by Ms. Manisha Cintury, Joint Secretary, Ms. Jyothsna Khatiwara, Assistant Director & Ms. Mani Kala Gurung, Social Welfare Officer.
Mr. Thinley Zangpo Bhutia, Programmer, Cyber Crime CID Cell & Ms. Aditi Halder , Assistant Manager ,Reserve Bank of India,Gangtok were the resource person who spoke about Digital & Financial literacy and how cyber crime happens day in and day out at our State.
The programme had the presence of Councillors, Senior Citizen Foundation of Sikkim along with Sikkim Retired Employees Association. Also the programme was attended by Senior Citizens of Gangtok District.
The programme concluded with interactive sessions.
