Grand Parents and Children’s (Mela)

Janata Highschool Vishrantwadi-Vishrantwadi Senior Citizens Association

Day- Saturday Date. 20/12/2025 Report– Afternoon 4 to 6.30 p.m.

On 20/12/2025, an Grand Parents and Children’s Gathering was at Janata High School, Vishrantwadi. At 4:00 pm, the programme was inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp and by offering a garland to the idol of Goddess Saraswati. On this occasion, the President of the Pune City Senior Citizens Association Mr. Dilip Pawar, a philanthropist businessman, Mr. Rajendraji Chandak, Mr. Chandrakant Bhattad, and Headmaster Mr. Vairagar Sir were present. After that, Mr. Pawar as well as Mr. Chandak guided the gathering. Officer Shri Jaywant Mantri explained the purpose of the program and made an introduction.

After that, various activities were conducted with great enthusiasm and joy on the green playground, such as Snakes and Ladders, Carrom, ring toss, rubber ball throwing, carrying a ball behind the back and covering a fixed distance without dropping it, walking a fixed distance while balancing cups on the head without letting them fall, musical chairs, storytelling, solo songs, and dance performances. Through this programme, a sense of love and bonding between two generations was created. The children took a pledge that when the time comes to take care of their parents and elders, they will not send them to old-age homes. After that, everyone participated in group dancing to music. At the end, snacks and tea were served to all. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Headmaster Mr. Vairagar Sir.Top of Form
