A Pilgrimage to the limitless Horizon : Approaching Totality

At the wee hours of dawn when the troubled soul feels serene by the loving warmth of the morning shine, we set out for a ‘One Day Awareness and Sensitization Programme on Health & Wellness Programme’scheduled to be held on that very day in the outskirts of Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman. We perceived and comprehended an entirely new dynamics amongst Senior Citizens of the place. We saw familial bonding, unconditional love and respect which time & social/ demographic changes haven’t been able to turnish. What they locked was an organized infrastructure exclusively for Senior Citizens with younger candidates who have no formal training in Geriatric Caregiving despite having the purest of bonding with members of the Silver Age Cohort.

We proposed a model which when implemented and executed in real-time, will eventually lead towards the genesis of eSHG with a small initial capital and financial empowerment, health equity, community resilience as well as Human Rights Advocacy. This abides by and enshrines the entire spectrum of our activities directed towards fulfillment of UN IDOP 2025 Central Theme.

We are now sculpting a firm pedestal upon which generic and tailor-made interventions could be implemented with the sole intention of composing on algorithmic blueprint with an Impact Matrix which will catalyze ‘Healthy Ageing’ as defined by WHO.
