Health Check-up Camp and Guidance Lectures

A Health Check-up Camp was jointly organized by the Senior Citizens' Institution, Spandan Senior Women's Circle, and Janseva Foundation at Samudrapur, Hinganghat. 159 senior citizens (men and women) benefited from the camp.

Specialist medical officers conducted check-ups for various conditions, including eye diseases, dental problems, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), blood pressure, diabetes, heart conditions, and bone fractures. Along with the check-ups, specialist officers provided guidance on various diseases and the necessary precautions and remedies.

Following the camp, a guidance lecture was organized on how to live a life of dignity in old age. Former Principal Dr. Hasham Shaikh and Shri Hanumant Desai provided guidance. Dr. Shaikh advised on how to live and behave in a changing family environment and how to conduct oneself in society. He guided the audience on how to adapt to the changing social circumstances and take care to minimize trouble for family members.

Shri Hanumant Desai, a financial advisor, guided the audience on how to remain financially independent after retirement, covering topics like health insurance, pensions, and various beneficial investment options for deposits.

Shri Jaywant Mantri, Program Officer, gave the introductory address, highlighting the importance of the topics. Shri Ramkrishna Khuje, President of the Senior Citizens' Institution, Hinganghat, was present. 105 senior citizens attended the lecture.
